What is OFA?

The Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) maintains a database of all health tests submitted for registered dogs.  Depending on breed, different tests may be required.

For Entlebuchers, OFA stores Hip Xray scores (HD), Elbow and Patella scores, Eye exams (CAER) and Genetic tests (PRA-prcd).

What is CEBA?

The Comprehensive Entlebucher Breed Assessment (CEBA) is an evaluation conducted specifically for Entlebuchers.  Evaluators takes each dog through a series of specific situations, and observe their reactions.  The assessment provides information about the strengths and weaknesses of the dog both physically and in temperament.

What is IABCA?

The International All Breed Canine Association (IABCA) holds dog shows in Europe and around the world.  As well as selecting the Best of Breed and Best in Show, each dog receives a detailed critique of their physical conformation compared to the breed standard.  The written and verbal critiques provide owners information on strengths and weaknesses of their dog and can assist with making breeding and mating decisions.
